We are two freelance translators, Ann and Tilo, currently situated near Brussels (Belgium), the capital of the European Community. Here we work for Belgian, German, English and American firms, offices and translation agencies. We translate from English and Dutch into German, our native language. Our Specialization: software translations (manuals, user interfaces, help files, ...) hardware-related texts technical texts* video- and CD-ROM-games commercial texts and speeches fictional and popularized scientific literature texts brochures, newsletters, presentations translation of web sites general issues (touristic, ...) We offer to process your material in: MS Word / Excel / Access HTML SGML Adobe FrameMaker Other applications/formats on request Also, the Translation Memory enables a top-down localization methodology for text reuse, that minimizes costs during future updates/revisions of your products and enables a very fast processing of update translations. This is especially interesting for soft- and hardware manuals, help files, web sites and other projects that need to be updated very frequently, or to create translations of similar documents in different formats for only a fraction of the normal price (FrameMaker, HTML, RTF, SGML, ...).
